Reverie in Empty Rooms is a documentary film inspired by the demolition of the Herman Arts Building in Franklin and Marshall College (also see Repositorium).
Herman is a space to study, make, and exhibit arts, and each room in this building is dedicated for one art form. Floating through this space, room by room, the film images is simultaneously a receiver (of light) and activator (of reverie). What is the relationship between this film (that extends over time) and the space (that extends over space)? What do they each really contain?
I collaborated with Yixu Chen on all aspects of making this film.
