Amazon Video is building the future of online video streaming, and I’m honored to take my part! As the video platform that features one of the largest selections of video content, Amazon Video is rapidly still scaling up. 

In the sunny Santa Monica, my team is building the foundation of the next generation of Amazon Video architecture. Our project is a backend catalog management system that allows Amazon Video to scale horizontally. This project decouples different stages of the video supply pipeline by adapting to strongly consistent asynchronous communications. It enables the expansion of Amazon Video Catalog by increasing the throughput of the pipeline by the factor of a few dozen, so millions of more movies are on their way to Amazon Video.
